Mack H. Altman III, MSDA, serves as assistant provost for Strategic Initiatives & Communications at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), leading high-impact initiatives that advance MUSC's priorities and strengthen alignment across the academic enterprise. Altman also serves as the executive director of MUSC’s Office of Microcredentials, a university-level effort to expand flexible, workforce-aligned learning opportunities across the health sciences. He brings more than two decades of experience in digital consulting, web development, technology strategy, business development and project management. His work focuses on building systems that improve access, usability, coordination and long-term effectiveness.
