About me
Kathryn Green is a Director of Strategic Project Management & Ecosystem Initiatives at Unicon. She joined Unicon in 2024, and her lived experience as a first-generation transfer college student (both undergraduate and graduate programs) drives her to maintain a deep commitment to the power of education. With over 15 years experience in higher education, Kathyn’s leadership has included product, project, vendor evals, communications, facilitation, interoperability, governance, and more. At Unicon, she’s led multiple community-based projects which involve funders, education institutions, ed tech vendors, and non-profits.
Her areas of expertise / keen interest include skills, competency-based education, the ed tech market, and adult online learners. Kathryn has also led various interoperability efforts across higher education and P20. Her ability to lead large groups of people to achieve a common goal, staying organized, on budget and on time, while facilitating a pleasant environment are reasons why Kathryn is a successful leader for your initiative.
Kathryn has a BA from Baylor University, an MA from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota, and a product marketing certificate from Pragmatic Marketing. She enjoys traveling, reading, and attempting to grow thriving a garden amongst the squirrels that annually thwart her plans.
