About me
Emilie Rafal is the senior director of postsecondary education and workforce programs, supporting membership growth and strategic initiatives. She comes to 1EdTech with over 15 years of experience in policy and technology, building partnerships and implementing technology solutions to promote equity and innovation. She was one of the founding staff members at Credential Engine, leading relationships with state and regional partners to promote credential transparency and the value of interoperability and standards for credential data. She also served as vice president of advancement at RIPL, working closely with public sector partners to design and build technology solutions to improve service delivery. She received her bachelor's degree from the College of William and Mary and her master's from the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration at George Washington University.
