An overview of the journey to regulate microcredentials in South Africa, which has a highly regulated qualifications system and framework. Part qualifications/unit standards case studies will be shared as cautionary tales, and then sharing of current work researching, setting up the national Task Team and writing the policy/ reviewing legislation to regulate microcredentials.
